# Assyro API

Search and read public regulatory and FDA source records over HTTP from Assyro's copies, with no MCP client and no key. Use this when writing code or scripts; for answering a user's question in an agent, prefer the assyro-mcp skill.

Status: preview. `https://api.assyro.com` is not serving production data yet; requests follow the published description and may change before launch.

## Endpoints

- `GET https://api.assyro.com/v1/sources`: every source with its publisher, licence and refresh schedule.
- `GET https://api.assyro.com/v1/sources/{source}/search?<arguments>`: search one source with its own query parameters. Repeat a parameter for a list (`?phase=PHASE2&phase=PHASE3`).
- `GET https://api.assyro.com/v1/sources/{source}/records/{recordId}`: one record, by the id a search returned (URL-encoded).
- `GET https://api.assyro.com/v1/openapi.json`: OpenAPI 3.1 for every source and parameter. Read it rather than guessing parameters.

Per-source parameters and examples: https://www.assyro.com/docs/sources.md and https://www.assyro.com/docs/sources/{source}.md

## Example

```bash
curl "https://api.assyro.com/v1/sources/clinicaltrials/search?intervention=tirzepatide&condition=obesity&phase=PHASE3"
```

## Rules

- Send no credentials: public reads are anonymous and limited per IP. Read the `RateLimit` headers and back off on `429`.
- An unknown parameter is refused by name with `400`; fix it from the message.
- Every record carries its `url` at the source. Records from attribution-licensed sources carry `attribution`: show it wherever you show the data.
- Send `Request-Id` from the response when reporting a problem.
