# Agent skills

Install Assyro's agent skills so Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents know how to use the Assyro MCP server and API without being told.

A skill is a `SKILL.md` file an agent loads when a task matches it ([agentskills.io](https://agentskills.io/specification)). Assyro's skills tell an agent which tool to use, how to search each source, how to cite, and what to do when Assyro cannot answer.

## Install

1. **Add the skills**

   The installer finds both skills and offers the agents it detects (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and others).

   ```bash
npx skills add https://www.assyro.com/docs
   ```

2. **Connect the MCP server**

   The assyro-mcp skill uses the server: connect it with the [MCP setup](https://www.assyro.com/docs/mcp) for your tool.
