Assyro eCTD vs DoubleBridge ROSETTA eCTD Viewer
A viewer and a publisher are different purchases. Match the software to the job your team actually owns.
Assyro eCTD
by Assyro AI
Drafting, technical checks and eCTD production for an approved output scope.
DoubleBridge ROSETTA eCTD Viewer
eCTD viewing; separately named publisher and archive offerings
Dedicated dossier viewing with lifecycle navigation and reports; Desktop and Enterprise are separately named.
Evaluate ROSETTA Viewer when another party publishes and your job is dossier navigation, lifecycle review and retrieval. Evaluate Assyro eCTD when your team also needs source-grounded writing and package production within approved scope. ROSETTA checksum and hyperlink reports are useful review tools, but do not establish a full regional technical validator. DoubleBridge separately names Scribe publishing and AI offerings; assess them explicitly if publishing is required rather than assigning their capabilities to Viewer.
Written individually by Assyro AI, a compared vendor. Current DoubleBridge portfolio and ROSETTA edition, feature and pricing pages checked October 13, 2026. Proposed cross-tool tests are not claimed as observed compatibility results.
Purchase the workflow you own
Retaining a capable viewer can be sensible even when drafting or publishing changes.

Viewing coverage is not publishing coverage
A tool can read a regional dossier without creating its next valid sequence. Keep edition, format/version and intended operation in the qualification record. Do not infer support across versions from a list of agency names.
Assyro's approved publishing scope is FDA, Health Canada and EMA centralised in v3.2.2, with FDA and EMA initial MAA in v4.0. Evaluate a replacement publisher only against an in-scope job.

Which one should you choose?
Choose Assyro eCTD if
- Your team owns writing and publishing as well as reading the dossier.
- The required output fits approved Assyro scope and passes acceptance.
- You want source grounding evaluated with the released package.
Choose ROSETTA Viewer if
- You need a viewer for dossiers produced by a partner.
- Its demonstrated lifecycle and reporting tools match your review tasks.
- The proposed edition and operating-system requirements fit the users who need access.
The detailed comparison
Where does your team's responsibility end?
Assyro eCTD
When it includes producing the next sequence, qualify source approval, technical findings, history and export. Reading the initial package does not prove the next lifecycle operation works.
ROSETTA Viewer
When it ends at reviewing a partner's output, test navigation, changed content, references and retrieval. Name the separate publisher or service provider responsible for corrections and resubmission.
Can the intended reviewer use the exact build?
Assyro eCTD
Test actual reviewer access, revocation and a large representative package in the proposed environment.
ROSETTA Viewer
The homepage mentions Windows/macOS, while the Desktop feature page describes Windows access. Confirm the build/platform and edition rather than assuming feature parity. A mounted cloud share is not evidence of controlled DMS synchronization.
Keep reviewing costs separate from production costs
Cost Desktop access by actual user/device terms and obtain separate Enterprise/archive/publisher quotes when relevant. Compare that with the Assyro workflow quote only after naming the equivalent job.
Include partner publishing labor, review/correction rounds, validation, secure file exchange, archive retention and licence-expiry access. No matched quote supports a cheaper-product conclusion. Viewer-only and full production costs belong on different procurement lines.
A partner-dossier review test
Record the intended reviewer's results, including tasks the software cannot demonstrate.
Historical navigation
Locate an earlier document, its replacement and the currently effective view without losing the sequence context.
Reference defect
Inspect a broken link or changed file and export the relevant report for the publisher to resolve.
Edition/platform
Run the sample on the proposed operating system and build; test required v4.0 behavior separately.
Correction and retention
Receive a corrected package, reconcile what changed and retrieve the original after the review is complete.
Where ROSETTA Viewer is stronger
No tool wins on everything. Here is where ROSETTA Viewer is the better choice today.
- A focused purchase for teams whose job is reviewing partner submissions.
- Documented lifecycle views, cross-reference/checksum reports and table-of-contents export.
- A public Desktop licence basis that can be costed separately from publishing.
Adopting Assyro eCTD
Keeping a viewer does not require replacing the publisher. For coexistence, test an exported package in the proposed Viewer edition; do not assume every regional/version combination is supported. If publishing changes, treat history migration as its own acceptance project.
- 1Identify the authoritative publisher and retained original record set.
- 2Select representative regional/version histories and review tasks.
- 3Open authorized exports and reconcile files, metadata and lifecycle views.
- 4Test changed sequences, references and correction handoffs.
- 5Agree retention, licence expiry, export access and rollback for any publisher transition.
