Part 21.301 — Information — serious environmental risk
This section grants the Minister powers to request information and disclose confidential business information (CBI) concerning therapeutic products that may pose a serious environmental risk. The Minister can order persons to provide necessary information and may disclose CBI without notification or consent to specific entities (government, advisors, environmental protection bodies) if the disclosure is for environmental protection or due to a serious environmental risk.

- Persons must provide information to the Minister when ordered, if the Minister believes a therapeutic product may present a serious environmental risk and the information is necessary for risk determination.
- The Minister is authorized to disclose confidential business information about a therapeutic product without notifying the person or obtaining consent, if the Minister believes the product presents a serious environmental risk.
