Part 20 — Deception, etc., regarding devices
This section prohibits any person from labeling, packaging, treating, processing, selling, or advertising any device in a false, misleading, or deceptive manner, or in a way that creates an erroneous impression about its characteristics or safety. It also specifies that non-compliance with labeling or packaging regulations is considered a deceptive practice.

- No person shall advertise any device in a manner that is false, misleading, deceptive, or likely to create an erroneous impression regarding its design, construction, performance, intended use, quantity, character, value, composition, merit, or safety.
- A device that is not labelled or packaged as required by regulations shall be deemed to be labelled or packaged contrary to the prohibition against false, misleading, or deceptive practices.
