Part 4 — Deeming provision
This section specifies that existing Notices of Interim Marketing Authorization, issued under the Food and Drug Regulations before this section's effective date and still in effect, are to be considered interim marketing authorizations under the new subsection 30.2(1) of the Food and Drugs Act.

- The notice must be in respect of any matter referred to in subsection 30.2(2) of the Food and Drugs Act, as enacted by section 3 of this Act.
- The notice must be in effect on the day this section comes into force.
- Such a notice is deemed to be an interim marketing authorization issued under subsection 30.2(1) of the Food and Drugs Act.
